Ryan Thresher
With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, Ryan brings a hands-on, client-focused approach to every project at JB Electric. His career began in his early 20s with real estate investments across British Columbia and Alberta, where he developed a keen understanding of what adds value to a home, both for resale and for everyday living.
From gut renovations to modern upgrades, Ryan’s insight helps homeowners anticipate what’s behind the walls of older properties and confidently navigate the renovation process. He’s known for his clear communication, practical knowledge, and his ability to guide clients through complex decisions with ease.
When he's not on-site or consulting with clients, you’ll find Ryan outdoors, camping, boating, or entertaining friends and family by the pool. He’s passionate about building spaces that people truly enjoy, and that same energy carries through in how he leads projects and supports his team.
Sean Urban
Born and raised in the heart of the Okanagan, Sean brings more than 30 years of experience in skilled trades and construction to JB Electric. With a background rooted in family orchards and cattle farms, Sean developed a hands-on work ethic early in life, and a rare ability to see the full picture, whether he's building, fixing, or designing.
A master carpenter by trade, Sean’s talents extend far beyond woodworking. His extensive experience in residential and commercial construction, paired with a keen eye for design and detail, makes him a trusted expert for projects that demand precision, functionality, and beauty. His ability to think analytically and execute flawlessly means no detail is overlooked, from the foundation to the finishing touches.
Sean is especially passionate about outdoor spaces, with landscaping design as one of his core specialties. He’s known for maximizing space, flow, and efficiency, always building with purpose and longevity in mind.
When he's not leading projects or guiding the JB Electric team, Sean is most at home outdoors. Whether he's fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, or spending time with family, he brings the same passion for quality and craftsmanship to everything he does.
